Light & Health

Light & Health

Light affects more than just visibility. It plays a role in how people feel, perform and recover. With increasingly more time being spent indoors, the quality of artificial light is becoming increasingly important for health, well-being and comfort. Within lighting design, integrative lighting is therefore being used more often. This approach goes beyond traditional lighting and takes into account both the biological and emotional effects of light.

Together with partners such as BrainLit and FluxPlus, we develop integrative lighting solutions that, where necessary, go beyond the usual guidelines such as 250 mEDI. Depending on the project requirements, this can vary from dynamic lighting settings to solutions that support the circadian rhythm.

This results in human-centred lighting solutions that contribute to comfort in working environments, performance in sports, and health and recovery in healthcare.  Would you like to know more about integrative lighting? Read on.
