The Biocentric Lighting (BCL®) system is a user-friendly Plug & Play solution for professional lighting projects. The system components are equipped with Wago connectors. Once the components are connected, they automatically recognise each other, and the system is immediately operational. Even when replacing a new component, new parts are automatically recognised without complex reconfiguration.
The BCL® system works with common protocols such as DALI IP/Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth. This allows the system to easily communicate with other building management systems (BMS).
Lighting is controlled using preset lighting recipes. These recipes automatically determine the correct light intensity, spectrum and colour temperature throughout the day, tailored to the rhythm and needs of the users and the function of the space.
Easy installation
Installation is quick and straightforward. WAGO plug connections make it easy to connect fixtures and components without complex cabling. Battery-free switches and sensors make the system low-maintenance and flexible to use. Although installation is simple, commissioning and system configuration are typically handled by an electrician and a DT8 integrator. This ensures that the lighting recipes and system settings function optimally.
