That is why Illuxtron is collaborating with Brainlit to combine technology and luminaire design for lighting solutions for healthy working and living environments.
What is Brainlit?
Brainlit is a global pioneer in the field of Biocentric Lighting. The company develops lighting systems that accurately simulate the important properties of natural daylight, tailored to the target group, activity and environment. Brainlit's technology is based on scientifically proven light recipes. These translate insights from chronobiology and neuroscience into concrete light settings, enabling light to actively contribute to people's well-being.
Brainlit's background
Brainlit was founded in 2012 by Tord Wingren, co-inventor of Bluetooth, with the conviction that light could play a greater role in health than had been utilised until then. Based on this vision, Brainlit focused from the outset on developing lighting that is not only functional but can also have scientifically proven effects on the human biorhythm.
Since 2022, Brainlit has been led by CEO Kyle Harris and works with a team of in-house circadian specialists and scientific advisors. With over 14 years of technological development and 10 years of global project experience, Brainlit has built up broad expertise in the field of healthy light.
The collaboration with Illuxtron
In collaboration with Brainlit, Illuxtron integrates Biocentric Lighting into luminaires and lighting solutions. In this way, we combine Dutch luminaire development and project experience with Swedish daylight technology to create healthy and future-proof buildings.
