The L4CS collection has been designed to seamlessly integrate lighting solutions into different ceiling systems. Each luminaire is tailored for a specific ceiling type, ensuring an optimal fit. Since each ceiling type has distinct requirements, it is crucial to select the appropriate luminaire. Below, we outline which lighting solution is best suited for each ceiling type.
Felt ceilings - Felta and Groovy
Two solutions for felt ceilings have been developed, depending on the type of slat.
The Felta is suitable for standard linear felt ceilings. The luminaire subtly protrudes through the slat, whilst the rest of the fixture remains concealed above the ceiling system. This creates a calm, streamlined ceiling appearance. The upper bracket of the Felta ensures stable mounting within the slat and adequate cooling.
Groovy has been designed specifically for felt ceilings with grooves, such as the HeartFelt® Groove ceiling system. The optics are positioned within the groove, allowing the luminaire to align seamlessly with the contours of the slatted ceiling. Additionally, the Groovy bracket is slightly lower to ensure a precise fit within the slat profile.
Wooden ceilings - Ligna
The Ligna is designed for wooden ceiling systems. Its longer tube enables the luminaire to blend seamlessly into the wooden plank. For optimal integration, a recess can be machined into the wood using a CNC machine.
Metal ceilings - Ferro
The Ferro fitting is the perfect solution for metal ceiling systems. It can be mounted directly onto the back of the ceiling panel using special double-sided tape, for quick installation.
Between ceiling systems - Vesper
The Vesper is a linear lighting solution designed for installation between ceiling systems, specifically between slats or panels. It is compatible with various types of ceilings, including wooden, metal, and SAPP climate ceilings. The Vesper is available in multiple standard lengths and can also be customised through our MIYO department, with a minimum order of 50 units.
In the near future, we will expand our collection to include the Vesper D, which offers a linear diffuse lighting solution for even light distribution.
Climate ceilings – Customised panels via MIYO
Through our MIYO division, we also develop LED modules that fit perfectly into climate ceilings, with tight tolerances of up to 0.2 mm. Depending on the project, the modules can also be supplied with a metal plate or in a colour that matches the ceiling.
