The Problem
Plastered ceilings exude elegance and give a luxury home a serene, exclusive look. But sometimes, the wide rims of light fixtures can detract from the beauty of the ceiling. The client wanted the lighting to be seamlessly integrated into the ceiling, without any distracting fixture rims. To meet this challenge, the client turned to our MIYO to develop a custom solution.
The Trimless Solution
The MIYO quickly came up with an idea: a Trimless fixture that eliminates the wide edges and seamlessly integrates the lighting into a plastered ceiling. The result? A beautiful ceiling with subtle, atmospheric lighting, without any distracting edges.
How was the Trimless designed?
For this lighting solution, we transformed our existing Fido downlight into an exclusive Trimless version. The ring was precision CNC-milled and enhanced with a laser-cut metal component. We then integrated the special MIYO with the Fido, resulting in the stunning Trimless concept. This allowed us to provide the client with a seamless lighting solution that perfectly complements the luxurious space and the stucco ceiling.
