At Illuxtron, we believe that sustainability begins with smart design. This is why we create fixtures that are energy-efficient and have a long service life. Our luminaires are carefully developed for a long product lifespan. We use high-quality materials and energy-efficient LED technologies. Each product is 100% tested (Ta45°C) in our social workshops, enabling us to achieve a low failure rate of only 0.5% within the 7-year warranty period.
Smarter installation, renovation and maintenance
We design our lighting solutions to be easy to install, maintain and renovate. A good example of this is our L4CS collection, where multiple luminaires can be connected to a single driver. This approach saves energy, reduces installation time, and conserves valuable raw materials.
With our RE-FIT solutions and MIYO customisation, we give existing installations a second life. Instead of replacing an entire luminaire, we only renew the necessary components. This reduces waste, lowers costs and limits CO₂ emissions.
Transparency through LCAs and NMD registration
We actively map the life cycle (LCA) of our luminaires. This data is registered in the Dutch Environmental Database (NMD), making the environmental impact of our products transparent, verifiable and usable for MPG and BREEAM calculations.
Based on this data, we can take targeted follow-up steps to further minimise our ecological footprint.
