The angle of the beam is 40° however because it has a very sharp beam (65° spread beam FWTM) it gives the appearance of a 15° halogen spotlight. As the size of the ceiling cut-out is only 35mm, Illuxtron and TCI partnered to create a bespoke power supply. As usual with all Illuxtron downlights, there is a high-quality plug between the downlight and the power supply.
We managed to keep the temperatures relatively low so that even with an ambient temperature of 45°C Illuxtron can guarantee the 7-year warranty.
