In collaboration with architect Erik Verbeeck and Ace Lighting, a comprehensive lighting plan was designed that clearly distinguishes between the front-of-house and back-of-house areas. The back-of-house is equipped with standard LED panels and the Cylinder series, which meet all requirements and standards, thereby freeing up budget for other areas.
The fixtures used in the front-of-house area were carefully selected. For example, at the entrance, the decision was made to use the Pointer 68 Adjustable to immediately create an atmosphere and highlight the Dark Light .
In the restaurant’s dining area, the decision was made to use a standard 3F track system. By utilizing the 18-degree beams of the Odion XS track spot, the lighting design can play with light and shadow, allowing for precise illumination of the various zones and tables.
On the upper floor, the private dining room is illuminated by the discreet Pointer 40. Dark Light ensures optimal table lighting with the lowest possible UGR. The same Pointer fixtures can also be found in the restrooms, where they were recessed into the white tiles to create the perfect ambiance.
The private dining room is separated from the restaurant by a transparent aging cabinet, where the cuts of meat are illuminated by a Linea DS-FS 120 featuring the Luxeon Stylist Red Meat series, which, thanks to their high R9 value, bring out the red colour the meat.
This entire project was equipped with a DALI interface in collaboration with Helvar, allowing for different lighting scenes to be set for every occasion.
