Lighting for shopping centers
In collaboration with INIZIO, we installed lighting at a large shopping center in Rotterdam, namely the Alexandrium Shopping Center.
The Linea downlights create the perfect atmosphere in a shopping area. These lights are a sustainable alternative for illuminating and modernizing the shopping center.
About the Alexandrium Shopping Center
The Alexandrium Shopping Center opened its doors in 1984. A few years later, the shopping center underwent a major expansion. Following the renovation of Alexandrium I, the shopping satellite was opened. This shopping satellite consists of a circular building located between Alexandrium I and II. Alexandrium I was also known as the Shopping Center. In 2001, the shopping area was further expanded, making it possible to walk in a triangle between Alexandrium I and Alexandrium II. Alexandrium I and II have since changed their name to Alexandrium Shopping Center.
The shopping district now attracts 14 million visitors annually and is home to several flagship stores. In addition, major events are held there, which draw even more visitors.
The Alexandrium Shopping Center has made significant investments to revitalize the mall by renovating the interior and modernizing the lighting. Currently, scaffolding has been erected in various areas of the mall, and the lighting is being upgraded from CFL to LED.
