The L4CS collection was developed to seamlessly integrate lighting solutions into various ceiling systems. Each fixture is designed for a specific type of ceiling, ensuring that the fixture and ceiling fit together perfectly. Because each ceiling type has different requirements, it is important to choose the right fixture. Below, we explain which lighting solution is most suitable for each ceiling type.
Felt Ceilings - Felta Groovy
Two solutions have been developed for felt ceilings, depending on the type of slat.
The Felta is suitable for standard linear felt ceilings. The light subtly shines through the slat, while the rest of the fixture remains hidden above the ceiling system. This creates a calm, streamlined ceiling appearance. The upper bracket of the Felta ensures stable mounting in the slat and adequate cooling.
The Groovy was designed for grooved felt ceilings, such as the HeartFelt® Groove ceiling system. The light fixture is installed in the groove, allowing it to fit perfectly into the shape of the slatted ceiling. The bracket on the Groovy is slightly lower so that it fits precisely into the slat’s profile.
Wooden ceilings - Ligna
The Ligna is designed for use with wooden ceiling systems. The Ligna features a longer tube, allowing the fixture to disappear into the wooden plank. For a seamless integration, a recess can be cut into the wood using a CNC machine.
Metal ceilings - Ferro
The Ferro is the perfect solution for metal ceiling systems. This fixture can be mounted directly to the back of the ceiling panel using special double-sided tape for quick installation.
Suspended ceiling systems - Vesper
The Vesper was developed for use between ceiling systems. This linear lighting solution is installed between slats or panels. The Vesper can be used with various types of ceilings, such as wooden and metal ceilings or SAPP climate ceilings. The Vesper is available in various standard lengths and can also be custom-made through our MIYO (minimum order of 50 units).
The collection will soon be expanded to include the Vesper D, a linear diffuse lighting solution designed to provide even light distribution.
Plug & Play in Ceiling Systems - L4CS downlights
With the Plug & Play system from the L4CS collection, you can connect multiple spotlights to a single driver. This saves you installation time, materials, and valuable resources. Various options are available, depending on the type of fixture and its intended use. You can find out which fixtures are included in the new catalogue.
Climate ceilings - custom panels via MIYO
Through our MIYO department, we are also developing LED modules that fit perfectly into climate ceilings, with tight tolerances of up to 0.2 mm. Depending on the project, the modules can also be manufactured with a metal plate or in a colour that matches the ceiling.
