The Twin Strada
The challenge
For a hotel project, the client was looking for a tiltable double surface-mounted spotlight with Casambi control.
The solution
CBU-TED dimmers with Casambi work perfectly with the Illuxtron high-voltage technology. On a single block, you can dim multiple luminaires with Triac, eliminating the need for costly Casambi low-voltage drivers for each fixture. This setup enables smart wireless control with Casambi, while ensuring high-quality dimming you are used to from high-voltage. Around this technology, a sleek and solid luminaire has been designed that perfectly matches the architect's wishes. The result is the Twin Strada: a stylish, flexible spotlight with smart light control that enhances the overall guest experience.

The challenge
For a project with a beautiful wooden Derako ceiling, the client was looking for a suitable directional spotlight.
The solution
For MIYO, it was a new experience to work with a wooden slatted ceiling like this. A round DS-A seemed a logical choice at first, but a square cut-out would be easier and quicker to make. And in terms of shape, it would fit better with the straight lines of the slatted ceiling. So our team chose the Linea AS trackspot as a foundation. The final result is a compact, square, directional spotlight that clips into the ceiling using wire springs. It also delivers the high-lumen output that you expect from Illuxtron trackspots.
